Vess A mutant that was lab engineered to be a nematode hybrid for the further development of Sheperd Bioscience's research. It had already died once before awakening to an infected world, having committed a sin that weighs down on its higher thought like a lead blanket. It moves towards a place of calling, asleep within itself. Just what drives it? Just what do they want?
	Nematodes An extradimmensional parasite that has the remarkable ability to incorperate all biological material into itself. They leave exit wounds from the other worlds they infect: "wormholes", that only further taint the earth with more of their progeny.
	Maria The CSO of Shepherd Biosciences. Driven by a desire for repentance for her teenage years, she devoted her life to a higher calling after a group of angel investors chose to fund her research: bringing humanity closer to the kingdom of God.
	Jude A biology student that throws himself into both his research and his furry art hobby in order to distract from a gnawing discomfort in his own skin. He works as an intern for Shepherd Biosciences, where he eventually grows close to Vess.
	"The Dragon" A masked "Demon" merchant from beyond the wormholes, his world was consumed by the nematodes a long time ago.
	"Lucifer" The most powerful of the "Angels". His sense of self and being is immutable: no other will may change who or what he is. Because of this, the parasite holds no power over him.
